FRAG Srl is looking for a Site Erection Supervisor to oversee the installation of important Industrial Plant in UK. The candidate will manage the activities as equipment positioning, welding (stainless steel mainly), mechanical and electrical assembly, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities: - Supervise the positioning and alignment of the equipment as per engineering specifics
- Ensure whole stainless steel welding operations on site respect to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Supervise mechanical assembly ensuring functionality and structural integrity
- Manage electrical assembly processes (cable routing, connection, control system installation, etc.) collaborating with the electrical team
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors and site personnel
- Provide technical guidance and ensure observance to safe work practices
- Conduct regular quality inspections of installations, including welds and mechanical / electrical assemblies
- Maintain detailed records of progress, inspections, and any deviations from plans
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to updated on schedules and deliverables
- Monitor the site schedule and reporting any delays or risks
- Ensure the correct respect of safety protocols and guidelines
- Conduct risk assessments, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and other parties to resolve technical or logistical challenges
Requirements: - Master's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in site supervision for large industrial projects
- Proven experience in carbon steel and stainless-steel welding, mechanical assembly, and electrical installation
- Familiarity with UK HSE regulations and standards.
- Welding Inspector certification
- NEBOSH or similar safety certification
- Electrical installation qualifications
- Fluent knowledge in English, both written and spoken
