To supervise the scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance on field static equipment, proactively identifying and resolving problems and minimising downtime, in safe manner and in compliance with the Client and best practice Maintenance procedures. Responsibilities: - Ensure that all maintenance activities developed in Onshore plants and Mechanical Workshop are carried out in a safe manner, in accordance with the best working practise and in respect with scheduling programs
- Monitoring, inspecting and verifying the performance of the maintenance activities executed and their respect of time scheduling
- Supervise activities such as Disassembly / Reassembly & Testing, Confined Space Entry into static equipment, types to remove / clean and replace a variety of internal parts (This work can include, but not limited to, internal manhole covers, trays, nozzles, flappers etc.), In situ Industrial Cleaning of equipment internals and components, Transportation of components to the designated cleaning area, Industrial Cleaning of equipment and components at the designated cleaning area, Replacement of catalyst or other inventories.
- Following and controlling the testing and calibration of static equipment
- Diagnosing faults and trends and taking or recommending appropriate corrective action
- Ensuring that, the Client and statutory safety requirements are adhered to in all mechanical maintenance activities undertaken by Contractor personnel and Sub Contractors
- Compiling, completing and submitting of reports, QA/QC, and records and documentation to the required standards and at the relevant frequency
- Provide evidence of Work Order Progress and Execution and Work Order Feedback
- Prepare procedures for the maintenance activities execution, recording and submittal of resources with the corresponding work durations, material and spare parts used
- Detailing approvals and work permits required prior to commencement of activities and shut-down needs
Requirements - Degree in Mechanical Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 10 years experience in Mechanical Maintenance activities in Oil and Gas Industry to have included:
- experience in static equipment such as Accumulators, Columns, Ejectors, Filters, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, Reactors, Tanks, Vessels, Valves, Pig Traps, Pipelines
- knowledge of design, installation and repair, inspection, testing techniques of mechanical equipment
- knowledge of operating and maintenance of Workshop equipment and tools
- experience in advanced diagnostic on mechanical devices and apparatus
- knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
- cost evaluation and monitoring activities capacity
- Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding electrical systems and equipment
- Qualification to operate in presence of toxic substances and H2S
- MMS knowledge and experience
- Computer literate
- Fluent written and spoken English
